Medical Device Donations to Sinjar Region, Northern Iraq

Year established 2017
Sectors NHS
Country Iraq

Overall goals

The aim of the Yazda project was to provide much needed support to the Yazidi community, which has recently been released from occupation by the so-called Islamic State. Following the three year occupation, the Yazidi community has been left in a state of emergency. Medical equipment is in short supply and the only two hospitals in the region are operating with a severe lack of basic supplies.
