In a year when staff across health and social care have been rising to the many challenges of dealing with Coronavirus (COVID-19), there’s never been a better time to recognise and reward them for what they have been doing day-in and day-out. The Global Citizenship Award is a great opportunity to showcase, and recognise the excellent contribution made by staff across health or social care to advance healthcare systems in low and middle income countries.
Nominations in this category can be for individuals, groups or teams working in health and social care including; nurses, doctors, dentists, allied health professions, volunteers, social workers, social care workers, healthcare scientists and estates and maintenance and other support staff.
The closing date for nominations is 30 September 2020.
To submit a nomination visit the Scottish Health Awards Website: https://www.scottishhealthawards.com/ or request a nomination form from the Daily Record. The winners will be announced on 9 December 2020.
Please take the time to tell us about the person or group or team working in Health and/or Social Care that deserves this recognition, the support that they provided and how it has contributed to improving lives both in the country they were working with and also the skills and learning that they brought back to Health and Social Care in Scotland.
We look forward to hearing from you.
